Charlotte's NÖ PÖWER have created a mess of d-beat, punk, and noise on this platter. Super RAW and depressing hardcore with equal parts Japanese worship and psychedelic ambition. Released in conjunction with "NO AXIS", a second 7" released by Inkblot Records and local-label Self Aware, "DISTORT" is the bastard child of the pair of records. Recorded, written, and released by NÖ PÖWER. Mastered by Josh Bonati. (members of GRIDS, METH MOUNTAIN, OBSTRUCTION, etc.).

Band is on tour next week and will have tour copies of both 7"s (with obi's)

First off, both of our new 7" are at the pressing plant right now. The "NO AXIS" 7" will feature 4 songs, and is a split release between Self Aware out of Charlotte, and Inkblot out of Brooklyn. Both labels are killer, so check out their other releases. The 2nd 7" simply titled "DISTORT" is a self released effort, and features 5 new tunes. We'll have ordering info up shortly on both. We also have another Northeast jaunt lined up in March, so we'll post those here once they're finalized. Before that though, we're playing 2 shows. February 10th in CLT at Snug Harbor w/ Late Bloomer, One Another & Old Flings. Then the following Weekend in Wilmington w/ Chaos Destroy, Merciless Game, & No Tomorrow on Feb. 18th. One last show before our appropriately dubbed "2011 Northeast Winter Weekend". This will be the last Sewercide show that both ourselves and Sewercide dwellers, Paint Fumes will ever play. Come celebrate Sewercide's suicide party. RIP Sewercide.
